The magnetic charge, which is generated on the recording- and playback heads during recording and playback is removed by this electronic, demagnetising wand in an electronic manner. Then the sound will be clear. Demagnetising takes only 3 to 5 seconds for each head.

Important! As a very strong magnetic field is generated by this accessory, do not use it if you have a pace-maker and do not use in the close vicinity of friends or family with a pace-maker.
